Well that’s a wrap on Cupar Model Rail 2023.
What a weekend, the show was exceptionally busy both days and the feed back is very positive on the show.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to spend some of the weekend with us. We hope you had a good time.
To the exhibitors, trader, demonstrators and displays, thank you - we really can’t do the show without you.
The trophies were awarded as follows.
“The Williamson Wherret Shield” (public vote) to St Andrew’s & Guard Bridge.
“Best in Show” (exhibitors vote) to Gresty Bridge.
“The Bill Scobie Memorial Trophy for Modelling Excellence” (selected Cupar MRC vote) to Fountain Hall TMD.
The volunteers of MacMillan Cancer Support in the cafe have had a stunning weekend raising even more money for the wonderful cause. We will let you know the exact figure once it has all be counted and costs sorted.
The winner of the “Guard Bridge Paper Coy” wagon we raffled for MacMillan Cancer Support is N Hampton from Fife.
The total raised was £54.
The club stock of our exclusive “Guard Bridge Paper Coy” wagons has now sold out. Thanks to everyone who purchased them.
Thanks again, see you next year.
