The building is directly in front of you as you go through the gates. Access to the building is via a door at the rear. We are located on the first floor.

Unfortunately we are currently unable to accommodate those that are unable to climb the stairs.

*Junior members under 16 must always be under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Children less than 14 years of age may, at the club's discretion, accompany a parent or guardian who is a member of the club.

Membership Fees (per year)

  • Adult - £ 65

  • Junior - £ 35

  • Country - £ 25

Membership fees are reviewed each year at our AGM and voted on by all eligible members attending.

Our club room, while modest in size, is an active workspace dedicated primarily to the art of railway modelling. This area is equipped with an array of tools and materials essential for our projects, including hand tools, mechanical equipment, paints, solvents etc. Given the nature of the work, it is important to recognize that this environment may not be suitable for everyone.

Due to the practical limitations of the space, constant supervision by experienced members cannot always be provided. Therefore, to maintain a safe and productive environment for all, it is imperative that every member has a comprehensive understanding of the potential hazards and is capable of managing them responsibly. This ensures not only their own safety but also the safety of fellow members as they collaborate in this shared creative pursuit.
