Eastgate on Sea: OO - British
Eastgate on Sea station is a fictional terminus in the heart of a traditional sea side resort complete with pier somewhere in England circa 1950/60’s.
A good mix of railway traffic can be seen with regular steam hauled passenger trains bringing holiday makers from far and wide, intermixed with local DMU services from other towns in the area.
Two small servicing sheds plus water tower provides maintenance for locomotives along with a turntable. Mixed freight services arrive and depart from the stations freight platforms.
Eastgate-on-Sea is undergoing renovation work and will not be available for exhibition until 2022.
